We hope that you are well and staying safe.
We would like to announce that Joyce Clark, has decided to stepdown from her position as Co-Leader of the Portland/SW Washington Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group. We thank Joyce for her past service and dedication to the NSDA community. Co-Leader, Janet Gensert, will remain in her role.
At this time, we are looking for a new Co-Leader for our Portland group who can work with Janet in order to continue the important work of providing support, raising awareness, and working to advance medical research. If you are interested in stepping up to this role, we would appreciate hearing from you via email janetgensert@gmail.com.
The NSDA has a strong network of support leaders and values their important work. The NSDA has resources to assist with training. We will do whatever we can to answer your questions and assist you. Keeping members well-informed and up-to-date is easier when leadership is shared. Please let us know if you are willing to work with me on continuing to build our Portland SD support group community.
Also, we are excited to announce that the Portland Oregon & Southwest Washington Dystonia Support Group, in conjunction with the Portland Dysphonia Support Group will hold a Zoom meeting on February 27,2021 from 11 am to 12:30 pm PT.

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
