What is Spasmodic Dysphonia?

Spasmodic dysphonia, also referred to as laryngeal dystonia, is a task-specific focal dystonia impacting the muscle that control the larynx. These muscles spasm only when being used for speech and not when they are at rest. Find out more about SD, the causes and diagnosis.
