You are invited to a virtual session of the New York City Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group.

 

We are excited to welcome our guest speaker, Kimberly Kuman who will share an update on the latest programs of the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association.

 

Kim has served as the Executive Director of the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association since 2005. She is also the Patient Advocacy Groups Liaison for the Dystonia Coalition. Her career background has been in health-based non-profit organizations with a focus on rare disorders. She has over 10 years of prior experience at the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation along with being the Operations Director at the Neuroscience Institute at Alexian Brothers Hospital (now Amita Health). Kim tries to brings an understanding of needs of the people living with neurological disorders to ensure their voice is represented in educational, awareness and support programming for the NSDA. 

 

After the guest speaker presentation, Adrienne Simons, New York City Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group Leader will lead the discussion.
