Please join us for the first official meeting of the Mid-South Tennessee Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group. We are very excited to have two healthcare professionals join us during our virtual connection session, Sandra Stinnett, MD and Amy P. Nabors, MA, CCC-SLP.
Dr. Stinnett is an Assistant Professor and Director of the Division of Laryngology at the University of Tennessee Health Science Center. She completed her fellowship in Neurolaryngology at Johns Hopkins University in Baltimore, MD. Dr. Stinnet received her Medical Degree from the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and was then accepted into the University of Miami/Jackson Memorial Hospital – Department of Otolaryngology where she completed her internship and residency training.
Amy is a licensed speech-language pathologist and clinical educator at
the University of Memphis School of Communication Sciences and Disorders. She specializes in the evaluation and treatment of
individuals with degenerative, neurological, and
functional voice and breathing disorders.

Daniel Lee Bray
ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
