Please join the Valley of the Sun Dysphonia Support Group for a virtual meeting on Thursday, February 23, at 5:30 MST.
Please join us on Thursday, February 23, at 5:30 MST. This will be a sharing/discussion meeting. If you have questions about Spasmodic Dysphonia and related voice disorders and would like to discuss ways to cope, please join us. Our Valley of the Sun Dysphonia Support group includes two Speech Language Pathologists, Sara Charney from Mayo Clinic and Sara Davis from Banner Health. They will be available to answer questions and demonstrate breathing methods and voice exercises to help you manage your voice disorder.
Our group provides a comfortable place to talk in a safe and confidential setting. Participation is always voluntary. Our group is open to all forms of dysphonia, and since we are virtual, you can participate from anywhere. Discussions can be informative for the newly diagnosed as well as those who have been dealing with a voice disorder for many years. Family, friends and others with an interest are welcome to attend.
Since this meeting is virtual, all are welcome to attend no matter your location! We look forward to seeing you there!

Daniel Lee Bray
ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
