Dear SD friends from the Peninsula and South Bay,
I’m writing to share the good news that Colleen Chon has agreed to join me as Co-Leader of the Silicon Valley Support Group, which like our national organization now supports not only those with SD, but a wide range of vocal disorders. Both Colleen and I were at the annual Dysphonia International Symposium in Detroit this spring and we’d like to share latest updates from the organization, along with a video of one of the presentations we attended there. We’d also like to catch up with you on a personal level since we have not been together for some time.
We’ll be meeting online on Saturday, June 24 at 10:30 am via the following Zoom link (please let us know if you expect to attend): https://us02web.zoom.us/j/7433128666?pwd=eitXNVRxQjFPbThvOHhWKzF4WlBkdz09#success
We’re also planning a backyard in-person gathering later this summer. More to come on that.
This year’s chilly weather keeps hanging on, but we’re confident that summer will eventually arrive. Hope all of you are doing well.
Marcia Sterling

Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
