Join the North Carolina Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Groups for a virtual meeting on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST.
TOPIC: “How Would You Describe Your Voice: Why, When and How Might that be Important?”
This month our group will discuss some of the instances in which it’s important that we know how to accurately describe our voice (for example, to our treating physician, so that s/he can provide more effective treatment using Botox, for those who use it).
We will also be discussing Communication Prompts and Educational Resources which are documents created by our NSDA Eastern Regional Representative, Carol Doles.
As always, we will invite others to share and speak about their experiences.
The North Carolina NSDA Support Groups dedicate this meeting to all who have spasmodic dysphonia or other related vocal conditions and in honor of World Voice Day on April 16, “Lift Your Voice!”

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
