Please kindly join the North Carolina Dysphonia Support Groups for their next monthly virtual meeting on August , 12, 2023, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM ET.
Our guest speaker will be Dorothy Tannahill-Moran. Dorothy is a Dysphonia International Board member. She chairs the Education & Awareness Committee. She was a career and life coach, author, and speaker. She has had 21 years in management in Intel Corporation and 12 years as a coach. She is a certified Vibrational Sound Therapist and donates proceeds from that to Dysphonia International. She is past Leader of the Kansas City Area Support Group.
She has presented at Dysphonia International symposiums and webinars, as well as having participated in Advocacy Days on Capitol Hill. Many of Dorothy’s articles appear in our publications, including the most recent issue of “Our Voice.”
Dorothy will be giving an overview of sound therapy as a means of alternative healing. She will do an online sound bath and meditation demo and will use Tibetan singing bowls. Her theme will be stress reduction.
Since this meeting is virtual, all are welcome to attend no matter your location! We look forward to seeing you there!

Daniel Lee Bray
ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
