Gather for a virtual get-together hosted by the Dystonia Support & Advocacy Group of San Diego County on Saturday, May 6, from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM PT.
Everyone is invited to join us virtually for our next meeting. Our meetings are for persons with ALL forms of dystonia and are not specific to SD.
The title of the presentation is: MANAGING THE DAILY CHALLENGES OF DYSTONIA.
Our special guest presenter is TOM SEAMAN.
Tom has lived with dystonia since 2001 and has devoted his life to education and awareness for this life-changing disorder and associated emotional, social, and vocational challenges. He is a Certified Professional Life Coach in the area of health and wellness, and the author of 2 books: Diagnosis Dystonia: Navigating the Journey (2015) and Beyond Pain and Suffering: Adapting to Adversity and Life Challenges (2021). Tom is also a motivational speaker, chronic pain and dystonia awareness advocate, health blogger, volunteer for the Dystonia Medical Research Foundation (DMRF) as a support group leader, and is a blogger for Chronic Illness Bloggers Network, The Mighty, Patient Worthy, and Brain & Life Magazine. Daniel Lee Bray
ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
