Please join us as our guest speaker, Michael J. Pitman, MD (pictured right) will be giving an update on Stimulation for Laryngeal Dystonia.

About Michael J. Pitman, MD | Dr. Pitman is Chief of the Division of Laryngology at the Columbia University Medical Center and Associate Professor of Otolaryngology Head & Neck Surgery. Dr. Pitman is an internationally recognized expert in voice restoration, conservation and care of the professional voice as well as in the care of swallowing and airway disorders. Dr. Pitman is a NIH funded clinician scientist who has performed and published extensive research in the areas of recurrent laryngeal nerve reinnervation, vocal fold regeneration, laryngeal dystonia, surgery of the cricopharyngeus and in-office laser surgery. Dr. Pitman has received numerous grants and patents for pioneering research in the field of Laryngology. He has been recognized by his peers as one the Top Doctors in the United States annually since 2014. He has authored many articles for peer reviewed journals as well as book chapters, and he lectures extensively both nationally and internationally.

After our guest speaker presents, Toni Gold, the Los Angeles Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group Leader, and Michael Johns, MD Director, USC Voice Center will lead the discussion.
