Join us on Saturday, October 10, 2020, at 10 am ET for a Zoom “pep rally” for Walk for the Talk-Greater Detroit Area Support Group.
The Walk for Talk benefiting the NSDA will occur between October 22 and 25. This four-day event includes a 5K and Fun Walk to bring together our community. This walk is an opportunity to have fun as well as to generate donations to fund university research and our own programing. All donations will be matched too.
We encourage you to sign-up for either the Fun Walk or 5K – registration is free – so invite your family and friends to sign up too! The Greater Detroit Support Group has a fundraising team called “Living in the D (Detroit)“. Currently, we have created a competition to see which NSDA Support Group will generate the most donations. You can donate to the team or sign-up to create your own individual fund-raising page. It is really easy to do and you can personalize it with your story and photos. You can view mine here. Let’s show the country how Living in Detroit is spotlighted by our generous nature!
Joining is easy!

IN MEMORY
Daniel Lee Bray
ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
