Event Details
Dear SD Friends,
I’m so sorry for the short notice and any inconvenience, but due to the few number of expected attendees and cautious concern for the COVID19 (coronavirus), our SD support group meeting will be canceled for tomorrow, Sunday, 3/15/20.
For those of you who did not receive the notice, the NSDA Symposium on May 2, 2020 in the Detroit area has been canceled. The good news is that a free virtual symposium will be available for anyone to join in for updates AND another NSDA Symposium will be rescheduled in Detroit in 2021. I’ll keep you posted and we will review highlights in our next meeting on 7/19/20.
In the meantime, let me know if you have any questions or concerns by email or phone. Once there are less restrictions on contact, we can also arrange to meet to chat as needed. Also, as previously mentioned, the new NSDA website is a fabulous resource for helpful information with you in mind (www.dysphonia.org).
I know these are challenging times and hope you and your families are staying healthy. An old saying: “We will all get through this. Every storm runs out of water eventually. Then the sun will shine again!” Well, the good news is that we are finally getting some much needed rain! So there’s always something to be thankful for.
Take very good care and BE WELL. I’ll be in touch and look forward to seeing you in July!

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
