Event Details
Please join the Sacramento Valley Dysphonia Support Group for an in-person meeting on Sunday, July 16, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM
We will review highlights from the first Dysphonia International Symposium held in Detroit, MI, on April 29, 2023, as well as other news and updates. Our Area Contact Leader in Chico, Rod Carter, will provide an update on his two recent experiences speaking to SLP (Speech Language Pathology) students in classrooms at Cal State Chico this Spring and on the program.
Most important is our roundtable introduction time to discuss any concerns, questions, share and support with helpful information. Our group provides a comfortable place to talk. You will meet others who understand what you are going through! Discussions can be informative for the newly diagnosed, as well as for those who have been dealing with spasmodic dysphonia or other related voice conditions for a long time. Supportive family members and friends are welcome and can provide a different perspective. Refreshments will be provided.
Please RSVP to Support Group Leader Jan Lant via email at janslant@aol.com to obtain details, including Kaiser map and parking, and for planning and headcount purposes.

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
