Please join us for a in-person meeting on Saturday, August 10, 2024, from 2:00 – 3:30 PM EDT.
Greetings!
I hope the start of your summer has been enjoyable. Prior to the pandemic, we saw up to 25 participants in our support group meetings. Sadly, that all changed in the aftermath, and we haven’t met in a long time.
Well, that is all going to change! We will be meeting on Saturday, August 10th, from 2:00 PM to 3:30 PM at Stage Nature Center (see pictures below) in Troy, MI. This is where we have hosted our annual Walk for Talk for the last two years, and it is a beautiful location. We will be hosting a potluck meal, so please feel free to bring a dish to pass!
Plus, we will also have a guest speaker, speech-pathologist Patrick Beasley, from Lakeshore Ear, Nose and Throat, who will present on laryngeal dystonia, vocal strategies and health.
This is a multi-generational meeting, and all are welcome! Please invite your friends, family and coworkers. It is an opportunity to reconnect and share stories of personal challenges, successes and funny anecdotes!
Please RSVP via email and let me know the dish you plan to bring (optional). Also, you can phone or text me at 248-240-2693.
Look forward to seeing you!
