Chico State’s National Student Speech Language Hearing Association (NSSLHA) is thrilled to announce our first-ever “Walk for Talk” event, scheduled to take place on October 22 at Bidwell Park One-Mile. You can find us at our table by Sycamore Pool. By participating in the “Walk for Talk,” you’ll be joining a movement to shine a light and learn more on this condition, foster understanding, and offer support. Thank you for your time, and we look forward to seeing you at the “Walk for Talk” on October 22nd.

There is no cost to participate, and all ages are welcome!! So invite your family, friends, co-workers, healthcare professionals, and even your pets to be part of the Walk. Our goal is to fund more research to find answers for better treatments and a cure for spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions. By all of us working together, we can make this happen. Every step gets us closer to a cure!
