Due to the recent hurricanes that have severely impacted our community in Tampa and the surrounding areas, we have made the difficult decision to cancel our local Walk for Talk event on Saturday, October 19, 2024. Our primary concern is for the safety and well-being of everyone affected by this natural disaster, and we believe it is important to focus our collective efforts on supporting those in need during this challenging time.

While we are disappointed not to hold this event as planned, we are committed to continuing our work to raise awareness for spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions in other meaningful ways. We appreciate your understanding and support, and we will keep you updated on any future plans, including support group meetings.

We also appreciate all the donations and sponsorships for Walk for Talk, which will benefit the overall event supporting Dysphonia International.
