Our guest speaker is Dr. Larry R. Bergstrom who is an integrative medicine specialist at the Mayo Clinic in Phoenix, AZ. Integrative medicine addresses physical, emotional, spiritual and mental health and well-being and often is an approach to health care that includes practices not traditionally part of conventional medicine, such as herbs, acupuncture, massage, yoga and meditation. In many situations, integrative therapies are used with conventional medicine approach. Learn more about how integrative medicine can be incorporated in the treatment of spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions.
