Join the North Carolina Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Groups for a virtual meeting on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at 10:00 AM EST.
TOPIC: “Learning to Love Ourselves and Our Voices: Sharing Stories of Loving Self-Care.”
We’d like to encourage you to begin thinking of the personal practices you’ve developed to create a loving relationship with yourself and others, to calm your stress and anxiety, and encourage a loving environment in which to enjoy your life. Rebecca Cole-Turner, leader of the Greensboro SD Support Group, will begin the meeting by reading a couple of poems to help get us in the mood for this story-sharing time. During our discussion, Rebecca will invite attendees to share their reflections. Along with Mary Bifaro, they serve as co-leaders of our monthly NC Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group meetings.
About Our Group: The North Carolina Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Groups provide a comfortable place to talk. You will hear how people cope, gain new information, and establish contacts. Discussions can be informative for the newly diagnosed as well as those who have been dealing with spasmodic dysphonia or other related voice conditions for many years.

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
— 1 Corinthians 13:12We Love You Always Dan!
