Please join us for a virtual meeting on Saturday, May 18, 2024, from 10:00 AM – 11:00 AM CDT.
Please join our Alabama Dysphonia International reinvigorated Support Group on Saturday, May 18, 2024 from 10:00-11:00 AM for a virtual meeting. This is a great opportunity to be a part of our Dysphonia International connected community.
Individuals with all forms of Dysphonia as well as family and friends are welcome. We are offering a time to build community and develop a support network of people dealing with spasmodic dysphonia, tremor, and any other voice disorder that impacts their daily lives.
During our meeting we plan to have a discussion about “Embracing Resilience on the Journey with Voice Disorders”, a recently published article from The Dysphonia International Our Voice Volume 31 newsletter. CLICK HERE TO READ THE NEWSLETTER, PAGES 1-5. Each of us has a unique perspective on how we have developed resilience and maintained a positive mindset as we manage our voice disorder so we hope to share encouraging ideas with each other.
Participation in discussion is completely voluntary as you may prefer to listen only, and you can choose not to show your image or name. This is a safe and comfortable space where sharing our stories and problem solving together will give each of us support.
You can join us on your computer, laptop, iPad, or tablet. For the Zoom login information and to RSVP, please email Judy Rodwell at alabamadysphoniainternational@gmail.com or heyjude73@gmail.com.
Hosted by Alabama Support Group Leader Judy Rodwell.

Daniel Lee Bray
ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
— 1 Corinthians 13:12We Love You Always Dan!
