This month we are fortunate to have a dynamic guest speaker, Sydney Pentland, owner of Vital Breathwork LLC. Sydney will share hands on techniques for balancing emotions and reducing stress as well as managing the “flight or fight” response that often interferes with wellness and can block vocal production.

Sydney’s supportive, holistic approach integrates breathwork, gentle somatic movement, and meditation. Together, these practices help regulate the nervous system, reduce stress, and release physical tension—creating space for greater ease in both body and voice.

Intentional breathing techniques can calm the mind, lower stress, and support vocal function, while somatic movement helps you reconnect with your body and release stored tension that may impact how you feel and sound. Meditation further encourages mindfulness, emotional balance, and a sense of inner calm.

Whether you are navigating dysphonia or simply seeking tools to feel more grounded and supported, this experience offers practical techniques to help you build awareness, restore balance, and move toward greater overall well-being.
