You are invited to a meeting hosted by the NSDA Support Groups of Virginia, Maryland and DC Area for people with spasmodic dysphonia and other related voice conditions that will take place on Wednesday, February 24, 2021 at 6:30 PM Eastern Time.
Please join us as our guest speaker, Susan Moore, RD will discuss: A Building Block to Great Health: The Anti-Inflammatory Lifestyle & Diet.
Susan an integrative dietitian-nutritionist with a private practice in Alexandria and Richmond, VA. Her specialties include core imbalances such as inflammation, diabetes, high cholesterol and irritable bowel syndrome, gas and bloating and food sensitivities. She also focuses on brain health, esp brain fog and depression. In addition to personalized nutrition therapy and health coaching, she also offers food sensitivity testing, vitamin-mineral lab work and menu planning.
With over 40 years of training and experience, Susan has worked in a wide variety of settings, such as corporate wellness programs, hospitals, non-profits and education settings (Go Hokies!). Her training is grounded in both traditional western and integrative-functional medicine.
Before moving to Richmond last summer, Susan lived in Northern Virginia for 30 years and enjoyed contra dancing, folk waltzing and urban hikes.
All are welcome to attend this virtual gathering and after the guest speaker presentation, there will be time for questions and discussion.

ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
