Here’s wishing you all a Happy New Year! We hope you are staying safe and well during these challenging times. We are excited to invite you to join us for our next online support group meeting. It is scheduled for Sat., Feb. 27th, 1-2:30 PM EST. NOTE: You must register in advance.
For this meeting, we hope to share our stories and get to know one another! The topic for this meeting is how you handled stress in 2020. What strategies helped you the most in coping with the virus and/or handling issues with Spasmodic Dysphonia? Exercise? Or was it working or reading a book? Did you use email more often than calling on the phone? What questions do you have? Some new members may have questions those of us who have had SD for a while can answer.
We are excited for Debbie States who moved to St, Simons Island! Good luck to her in her new adventure! While we are sad she will no longer lead the group, we are excited to welcome Cindi McCollough who has generously agreed to be co-leader!
As always, we want to thank Charlie Reavis, President of the National Spasmodic Dysphonia Association (NSDA), for attending our meetings and generously providing us with an update on the NSDA office and current research.
Whether you’re a regular, occasional or a first-time attendee, we hope you’ll be able to join us via Zoom or even just call in to listen via phone.
We look forward to seeing familiar faces and new ones! We are hopeful that many of you will be able to join us online.
Joining is easy!

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
