Gather for an in-person get-together hosted by the Sacramento Valley Dysphonia Support Group on Sunday, March 19, from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM PT.
Please join the Sacramento Valley Dysphonia Support Group for an in-person meeting on Sunday, March 19, from 3:00 PM – 5:00 PM .
We are excited to meet in person again for the first time since the pandemic! Therefore, we will spend most of our time getting reacquainted with each other, acquainted with newcomers, and catching up on how everyone has been doing with their voice, any treatments, questions and sharing. Our Area Contact Leader in Chico, Rod Carter, will be sharing about his positive experience speaking to a classroom of SLP (Speech Language Pathology) students at Cal State Chico last year and this program. Additionally, we will highlight other news and research updates.
Our group provides a comfortable place to talk. You will meet others who understand what you are going through! You will hear how people cope, gain new information and establish contacts. Discussions can be informative for the newly diagnosed, as well as for those who have been dealing with spasmodic dysphonia or other related voice conditions for a long time. Family members and friends are welcome and can provide a different perspective. Refreshments will be provided.

Daniel Lee Bray
ALIVE FOREVER MOREAugust 24, 1984 – December 20, 2020 (36 years old)
Daniel was a son, brother, animal lover, artist, animator, poet, rapper, musician and extraordinary soul who was filled with extraordinary faith while conquering enormous challenges after being diagnosed with Spasmodic Dysphonia at 19 years old. His story is a story of triumph, victory, courage and understanding. Daniel left many life lessons and through his experience on earth he will continue to touch lives inspiring us all to be more aware and to build more awareness of what brought him home. Daniel is a warrior and his inspiration that has been collected by his family will be used to bring hope and to change the world!
