Event Details
Please join the Knoxville Area Dysphonia Support Group for an in-person meeting on Saturday, May 20, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM ET.
The meeting will be held at Panera, located across the street from the Bearden Kroger’s, in a small shopping center called “Mercedes Place.” The restaurant has a private room in the back that is reserved for this in-person meeting. The room will hold around 20 people, so there will be plenty of space.
The room is reserved from 10:30 AM – 1:30 PM so that we won’t be rushed. Please try to arrive sometime between 10:30 AM and 11:00 AM because the meeting will start at 11:00 AM. There will be a break around 11:45 AM so that you can order lunch if you want to, and we will enjoy sharing a meal together and catching up.
Our group provides a comfortable place to talk. You will meet others who understand what you are going through! You will hear how people cope, gain new information and establish contacts. Discussions can be informative for the newly diagnosed, as well as for those who have been dealing with spasmodic dysphonia or other related voice conditions for a long time. Family members and friends are welcome and can provide a different perspective.
Kindly RSVP to Susan Beck via email at knoxnsda@gmail.com.

“We don’t yet see things clearly. We are squinting in a fog, peering through a mist. But it won’t be long before the weather clears and the sun shines bright! We’ll see it all then, see it all as clearly as God sees us, knowing Him directly just as He knows us!”
