Event Schedule

On Friday, May 2, 2025, come join us for a Welcome Party at 7:30 PM PT. It’s a fantastic chance to connect with new friends and enjoy an engaging “pass the mic” session where you can share your voice journey. The Symposium kicks off at 9:00 AM PDT and wraps up at 5:00 PM PDT.

Individual Registration: $130 per person

Registration includes lunch, breaks, and meeting materials on Saturday. Each person is asked to register including spouses, family, and friends, if they will be attending the meetings.

Student Registration: $60

A reduced registration is available to encourage speech-pathology students and medical students to attend and learn more about spasmodic dysphonia and related voice conditions.

While we are not hosting an organized dinner on Saturday or a tour on Sunday, we’re happy to help connect you with others who may be interested in exploring together. Let us know if would like to meet up with fellow attendees for these times by indicating it on the registration form.

The Symposium will be held at the Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Biltmore located at 2630 E Camelback Road in Phoenix, AZ 85016. A special rate of $159 plus tax for a single or double room is available until April 11, 2025, or sooner if the room block fills. Transportation

The closest airport is Phoenix Sky Harbor International Airport (PHX). It is located just seven miles from the Embassy Suites by Hilton Phoenix Biltmore, making it a convenient option for travelers attending the 2025 Dysphonia International Symposium. Sky Harbor is a major hub with numerous domestic and international flights.

There is no hotel shuttle from the airport, but taxis and ride-sharing services (Uber, Lyft) are available. The estimated travel time is around 15 minutes, costing approximately $18-$30. Dress

Business casual attire is recommended for the Symposium. As the hotel is air-conditioned, we suggest bringing a sweater or jacket for added comfort, as we are unable to adjust the temperature in the meeting rooms.

To make the experience even more welcoming, we offer an Ambassador Program. This program pairs first-time attendees with experienced attendees who can answer questions and serve as a “point-person” throughout the event. If you’ve attended a Symposium or similar meeting before, we encourage you to sign up as an Ambassador on the registration form. After you register, you’ll receive a follow-up survey with additional details about how you can participate. Together, we can make this a memorable and supportive experience for everyone!
