THANK YOU It is the Holiday Season and I realized I have been very delinquent in thanking all of you who wrote to me and gave me information and encouragement when I was contemplating surgery for my SD almost two years ago. I had the surgery with Dr. Burke at UCLA in October of last year, 2001 and I am so thrilled with the results. For me, the surgery was easy and I quickly recovered. I now have a normal voice and won't have to spend the rest of my life going for Botox shots. I think Dr. Burke is fantastic. I owe him everything for giving me back the rest of my life. And I want to thank all of you who wrote to me. I'd list your names, but I don't want to betray your anonymity. Thank you and a very Happy Holiday Season to all of you! Lois V.
