The most recent issue of Popular Science (yep, that's what I said) has a short article about the use of botox to "cure" babies born with club feet. They use the botox to relax the tendon - straighten the foot out - cast it for several months - thus avoiding the surgical procedue to do the same thing with the tendon. Just another use. . .

What wonderful news!! So much of the press we get on the use of Botox is for such non-important things, (like wrinkles in the forehead) it is so good to hear they are still experimenting with it for real disorders. Ida AD/SD |
