Good to hear that. BTW, we SD'ers in Miami discussed the upcoming SD-focused symposium in DC while down there (seems we have several motivated folks) and the subject of the area of town came up. Some folks were concerned about the crime rate in Washington, even "post-sniper."

Two people who had recently been to the area report that the symposium headquarters (George Washington University and GWU Inn...official conference hotel) are safe. Hope that helps.

Maybe you two could get something going to help people find roommates? Money is often a big issue as to whether folks can attend and having a roommate helps ease the $$$ burden.

Renee: In Miami, Dr. Blumin expressed curiosity about Myobloc results for voice patients. He doesn't know any, so I mentioned your name. I'll write you on private e-mail. Seems like someone should be tracking such things; but, as yet, Myobloc patients in the vocal community constitute a very small segment of the injection population.

The symposium will be held on the weekend of March 8 next year.

We will send out as much information as possible to the on-line support group as soon as the NSDA make it available.

If possible try to attend the social gathering on the Friday evening as well as the medical sessions on Saturday. One of the highlights of attending these symposiums is meeting other SD folk.
