Has anyone had any adverse affects from type B, ie; not taking, doesn't last as long as type A?

Hi Karen

Botox A stopped being effective for me, so we tried the Myobloc, the first injection "took" but didn't last very long. The second one didn't take at all.

I am getting 10 units of Botox A in each cord now for a couple of weeks of spasm free talking.

I, also, take the botulinum toxin Type B. I think that on the average that it lasts about one month shorter than the comparable botox shot does. I got more this time, though, so we'll see...
