Hi does anyone know if there is a Dr. in Montana that would give the

botox shot? Trying to get closer to home if I can.

Also who in Salt Lake City can give them. I'm going to try all different

ways to see which is the most economic as my insurance is gone as of

tomorrow. I quit the job I have had for the last 36 years, but for some

strange reason I can't quit the SD :).

You can find a list of physicians who give BOTOX shots for SD on the NSDA web site at:

http://www.dysphonia.org/nsda/healthcare/

They have one doctor listed for Missoula, Montana, and one listed for Salt Lake City, Utah. None in Wyoming I'm afraid.

Linda, I've got 2 sources for you to check on:

1) Call Ramona Beach, who I believe is a SLP (Speech & Language Pathologist), at Campbell County Memorial Hospital, in Gilette, Wyoming. I don't have her phone number, but she might be able to tell you which docs in Wyoming (if any) are SKILLED at giving botox shots.

2) You can join (I did) a "list serv" (forum) called "sid3voice". This forum is frequented by mostly SLP's & docs. It's a very supportive and excellent forum. I've gotten recommendations many times from people there, to help patients with VCD (Vocal Cord Dysfunction) who have contacted me.

Then, you can post your question about finding a qualified expert doc in Wyoming or Montana, who can give botox shots! :-)
