I've been getting Botox injections for about 7 years with very good success with the occasion "misses". The first reaction from a good shot is usually a very weak, breathy voice that has no inflections and doesn't project well for a few weeks. Your voice is also very deep but it does have a smoothness to it and a sign of possible success. My experience has been this side effect slowly disappates after a few weeks and your voice gradually becomes stronger, smooth with no hesitations and over the next few months becomes quite normal. The timeline can vary but mine usually lasts 4-6 months until I notice the "hestitating" factor in my voice and thus, time for another shot.

I asked my doctor to try different dosages and currently I use a minimum dosage to achieve good results and minimize the breathiness phase. So far all seems to be working fine in this regards.

Talk to your doctor and try different dosages if you feel it would help. I also gage my injections for important events too and this I take into consideration for dosage too. Just a thought.
