Botox-givin' doctor in Seattle or Portland???

I plan on flying down to Seattle or Portland soon for a Botox shot from a "professional" Botox-givin' doctor and would like recommendations from persons on the BB. I'm trying to arrange to see Dr. Thomas in Portland, but am having problems with my flight (the only roundtrip from Anchorage to Portland gets in at 6 a.m. and doesn't leave again until 10:15 p.m. A long, long, long day!!). So, I'd appreciate any tips or comments. I'm looking for someone well-versed in the Botox injections and SD, someone who has quite a few patients and quite a lot of experience.
I'm been receiving injections from a doctor up here in Anchorage, but due to a lack of positive results, he has recommended I see someone with more SD knowledge.
Thanks so much!

Hi Cinthia,

I live in Washington state and I've been getting injections in Seattle for several years now. I go to the Oto Clinic at the University of Washington Medical Center. Dr. Allen Hillel gives injections there usually the second and fourth Tuesday afternoons of the month. I've been very pleased with the care I've gotten there. The phone number I call to make an appointment is (206)598-2398. The main phone number to the Oto Clinic is 598-4022. The phone number of the speech pathologist I see there as part of each appointment is 598-4851. Her name is Pat Waugh and she is great. As a potential new patient, she might be a great place for you to start.

If you have any other questions, just let me know.

Chris

I'll second that. I'm using them, too. Dr. Hillel is really good about explaining things, as is Pat Waugh. They're very accomodating to scheduling constraints, too.
