Hi everyone, I'm looking into the DBS surgery, we have been doctoring at the Mayo in Rochester MN. We hopefully will hear something yet this week if I am considered a candidate for the DBS or not.

I've had tremors since 1999 and have tried several seizure meds and have done the botox since 2001. We started with 15 cc of botox and ended in April with 20,000 cc of botox. The botox is not working anymore as I don't get much relief from it. I started with tremors in my head and now I have the tremors throughout my body in my head, neck all the way down to my knees. I shake all the time even when I am sleeping.

I am wondering if anyone out there has done this surgery and if it worked for you and if there were any complications or side effects to the surgery.

Looking for all the input I can get.
Jody, Benson MN
