Hi, I'm new to this site and am planning on getting my first Botox injections this Thursday. I've been sick for two weeks, mostly with a severe cough and sore throat. I'm feeling much better but I can tell I'm still a little sick. Is it okay to receive Botox while you are just getting over being sick, or should I talk to my Dr. and cancel? I've waited so long already (between getting the insurance co to approve and getting an appointment) and I'd hate to wait any longer. Any advice? Thanks. |

Sure go ahead and have it. I've had botox for so long,that I've had all kinds of symptoms at the time. I've had 15 years of experience with botox. Once my mom was having a triple bypass and I was scheduled for a botox (I was rather uptight, and it didn't go as smoothly as usual). Once my brother had just passed away the week before and had my botox, another time we just had a new grandchild. It's definitely worth the relief of finally being able to speak to people and feel normal. |
