Small bump under ear

I got this bump under my ear the size of a pimple I'd say. Been there for about 3 weeks. Someone told me it might be from throat infection. Anyone else experienced this?

You know what? I got one of those, too....and it finally healed up, but has left a scar....If you find out anything more, let me know.....That's sorta scary....Do you have SD, too?

Well if it cleared up, it's good! I heard it's from a throat infection or something.

By "under the ear" so you mean in the area just behind your ear lobe? There is a gland located there that can swell and become sore. I have had that area swell up the size of a marble when I had ear infections...and as you mentioned when I've had a bad sore throat or cold, the infection can move into that area and cause swelling or soreness. I would maybe see a doc if it doesn't go away soon.

This is also an area where some people get cysts. They are small bumps that tend to be hard and sometimes sore...and can be the size of a pimple as you say or a little bigger. They sometimes go away on their own or sometimes have to be removed.

They are not serious, just more of a nuisance. I would suggest you see a doctor to find out exactly what your bump behind the ear is. (I'm sure neither of these things has anything to do with SD.)
