Hey guys,I have been on the drug klonopin since the beginning of January. Klonopin is a benzodiazapene, aka anti-anxiety and it also helps with seizures and tremors. When my SD symptoms surfaced, I became a nervous wreck and could not go to class, holed myself up in my room for weeks, and completely stopped contact with friends. My shrink prescribed klonopin and I take 3 mg daily which is a fairly large dose, the maximum dose being 8 mg, while the average klonopin dose for most people might be .5 mg to 1 mg. It has done nothing for my voice, but it really does work well for anxiety. Also, klonopin is perhaps preferred over shorter half-life benzos like xanax because of the addiction potential. In other news, tomorrow I am going to get my FIRST botox shot done by a Dr. Eugene Rontal in Farmington Hills, MI. Then I am going back to school on the 28th so I am hoping and praying I will get some kind of quick relief.
