Has anyone seen Dr. Blitzer in New York City for SD? I understand that he pioneered the use of botox for SD and (especially) has considerable experience in treating AB. He is considered to be among the best in the world and has been recommended to me by more than one person.

(added by Moderator: in some cases it could be more appropriate to respond to a poster by email. If you want to email Keith you will find his address in some of his previous posts - eg http://www.dystonia-bb.org/forums/sd/posts/1366.html)

Dr. Andrew Blitzer has been long respected in the otolaryngology field. I went to him for a second opinion in 1989 when first diagnosed with SD.

The NSDA is fortunate to have Dr Blitzer as one of our medical advisors. Those of you who attended the Washington, DC symposium last year were privileged to her him speak on the topic "Current Understanding of the Pathophysiology and Treatment of Spasmodic Dysphonia".
