The Circle City Spasmodic Dysphonia Support Group will be meeting virtually on Saturday, November 13 beginning at 10:00 AM EST.
Dr. Megan Wood of Otolaryngology Associates will be our speaker during this meeting She will be describing various treatments for SD.
Dr. Wood grew up in Greenfield, IN. She graduated Cum Laude from the University of Notre Dame and went on to study medicine at Georgetown University School of Medicine. She completed her otolaryngology residency at Wake Forest in Winston-Salem, NC. With a special interest in voice and airway, she went on to complete a fellowship in laryngology at Vanderbilt University. She enjoys treating a broad range of ear, nose, and throat disorders, including thyroid/parathyroid, head and neck pathology, but has a special interest in voice, swallowing, and airway problems.
